Pre Palooza Excitement!

Suzann made a journey to Arizona this past weekend to spend some time with Morgan.  And, hopefully, do some prepatory investigation on the big upcoming Wearn-a-Palooza Lite, a/k/a FRAN DANGO.

Being the ever prepared person that she is, Suzann got this pic if the Fran when they visited Tucson.

Evidently she found her phone, now do you know where your Dad's phone is?  And WTF on those fishing sunglasses?  The closest she gets to a fish is a Filet-O-Fish sandwich at McDonalds.

What is definitely going to be on the itinerary when I am in TUS is a visit to the local Big Lots.  Dad seems to go there on a daily basis.  Why is beyond my comprehension levels.  But if I need to stock up on expired detergent or trash bags, I will be there.  Here are Morgan and Charlie guiding me the way....

Dad called Suzann about the "fandango" today (excuse me, it is Wearn-a-Palooza Lite or WAPL for short).  No idea what he wanted to know about or pass along information on.

As soon as I saw the word "fan-dango", it hit me like a ton of bricks.

FRAN-DANGO.

It is relevant to say that Brian will not be able to join us @WAPL, but he will be missed and of course, we will be texting him all those precious Fran moments.

The Wearns reunite this March live in Arizona!  From the land of cactus, human smuggling and Glock 17's, we will again gather to pretty much sit around, drink, eat and look at each other.  That's the official reason, the unofficial reason will be to make fun of "you know who".

Here is what I told Dad on the phone:
"I am coming to Arizona on March 15-21."

Here is what Dad heard:
"I (Dad) will pick Jim up at Sky Harbor on March 15, drive him back to Tucson where he will stay at the same Comfort Inn that Fran and I stay at.  On Friday, we will all drive up to Phoenix to Morgan's house, where she will have an air mattress awaiting Jim's arrival." 

Past that, I have no clue what the plan was.  Was I to drop Morgan off at work?  Would I drive around with Mark and Suzann all day?  Would I rely on pubic transportation?  Pubic, Public, same difference.

NO.

I am renting my own car, even if it is a Hyundai Sonata "or equivalent".  I will cart my happy ass all over central Arizona like it is nobody's business.

Anyone got any ideas on what the fuck there is to do in Tuscon for three days?
